Jar

Small carinated jar with red paint line decoration. Described as "Pot with red painted design. Nubian C Group (?), about 500A.D." in the inventory of objects allotted to Liverpool from the Mond bequest prepared by Dr I. E. S. Edwards of the British Museum in 1939. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface dirt, discolouration, white residue, adhesive residue.
