Lug handled jar with painted decoration. Typical of Naqada II/III pottery from further north in Egypt. Marked by the excavator in pencil and black ink with the find number: 157 K'06 f; Marked with the John Garstang's collection number in black ink: GN 331. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Large areas of concretions, surface dirt, worn, small areas of surface loss, white residue in places.
