Tall bag-shaped jar with rounded base. Not marked with a tomb number. CONDITION NOTE (1998): White residue, pitted, surface dirt. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 13505/3; Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 26 June - 6 July 1922 (MacGregor Collection) Lot 1714 "Five vases, with ovoid bodies in red and pale terra-cotta, all between 10 in. and 11 in. height, from Professor Garstang's excavations at Esna; and five others, of very early date, probably from Esna, Zawaideh or Abydos."
