Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 13536/2. Sir Henry Wellcome acquired this and other artefacts excavated at Esna from the collection of the Rev. William MacGregor at Sotheby's, London, 1922, lot 1702: "Three Stands for Vases; two Bowls; eight Vases, with ovoid and gourd-shaped bodies; and a small Bowl with wide ear handles and inscription; all from Professor Garstang's excavations at Esna". Revd. MacGregor was a subscriber to the excavations of the Liverpool University Institute of Archaeology.
