Fragment of a jar. Cylindrical with concave profile and square rim. Marked in pencil "17 A N of Shunia", which seems to be a reference to a tomb north of the Shunet el Zebib at Abydos. Petrie's handwriting? CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface loss, chipped, pitted, surface dirt.
