Bulbous "drop"-shaped jar. Incised line at the neck, which is damaged. Small neat excavation mark in black "602", quite unlike John Garstang's distinctive thick nibbed black ink on pottery from Beni Hasan. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, large area of rim missing, running cracks from break edges, surface dirt pitted, label adhered to surface.
