Jar

Flat bottomed jar with flared rim pinched inwards at four points. Garstang's Type A no. 10 (pl. XII no. 10). There seem to be traces of a number in black ink near the mouth but the surface is in poor condition with lots of surface loss. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 13532; Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 26 June - 6 July 1922 (MacGregor Collection): Lot 1699/24.
