Pottery jar with impressed decoration of wavy lines between straight lines running around the vessel. Pierced with holes at the neck. From the University of Liverpool 1906 excavations at Abydos. Marked 1 A'06, a tomb described by John Garstang as "A pit 6m deep, brick-lined to 2m deep. Orientated nearly north-south, as usual. The chamber on the south side extending east and west a considerable distance." The chamber is divided into two, a north-eastern and south-western chamber. This jar is from the north-eastern chamber CONDITION NOTE (1998): Minor chips to top rim, foot chipped, pitted surface, white residue, surface dirt.
