Jar with ovoid body, short flaring rim, and dark painted floral paint decoration. Has been described as 18th Dynasty but is the decoration genuine? Sold at Sotheby's 19-21 December 1906 lot 24/5: "Five vases of red pottery; two with pointed bases; some with designs in black and red; XVIIIth dynasty".
