Jar, globular, polished red ware. Compare shape with W. M. F. Petrie, ‘Prehistoric Egypt Corpus’ (London, 1921) pl. XIV no. 84. Like many other items in the collection of P. W. Weaver this could be from the excavations of John Garstang at Abydos, 1907. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Chipped rim, slightly pitted, surface loss, white residue, adhesive residue, surface dirt.
