Mottled indurated limestonet (or breccia) jar of ovoid form with handles, flat base and everted rim. A piece is broken off the rim. Compare shape with Ali el-Khouli, ‘Egyptian Stone Vessels, Predynastic Period to Dynasty III: Typology and Analysis’ (Mainz, 1978) no. 1440. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped rim, surface dirt.
