Oviform red pottery jar with a short neck. Coarse fabric. Cracked. Recorded as being from Mahasna H. 92. Ayrton and Loat led work in the Predynastic cemetery at el-Mahasna for the Egypt Exploration Fund in 1908-09. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Large open running cracks on rim, pitted, surface dirt, label adhered to side.
