Egytpian alabaster vase of cylindrical shape with only partly bored centre. Accompanying label in John Garstang's handwriting "Dyn. III. Semi Royal Tombs of Bet Khallaf"; label stuck to the base ""Dyn. III. Royal Tombs of Bet Khallaf". The region examined by John Garstang's team in this 1900-1901 season was about ten miles in length, encompassing the villages of Alawniyeh at one end and Bet Khallaf on the other, with el-Mahasna in between. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, half of neck missing, running cracks on break area, chipped, cracks at base, surface dirt.
