Small flat based jar with two lug-handles. Flat rim with chips in places. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 26380: "Pre-dynastic Egyptian vase of black and white granite with 2 side loops, the lip badly chipped. 4¾" diameter 3½" high". Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 18 July 1919 Lot 51: Predynastic Egyptian vase of globular form, with slight side loops in black and white granite, 4 in. high, 5 in. diam., and an Egyptian alabaster vase 4 1/2 in."
