Jar

Jar of reddish pottery. Surface is friable. From tomb 72, a large shaft tomb that contained 2 chambers that had been robbed except for some pottery. In one shaft was a child burial with lots of bead and gold fish amulets now in National Museums Scotland, Edinburgh. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, chipped, pitted, surface loss, worn, pitted, surface dirt.
