Information
Small green glass jar of a spherical body, a convex base and a short wide neck which leads into a wide splaying neck. Decoration of five indentations around body. Rim is broken and there are two holes in the body.
Purchased from Mr E. E. Sellar in 1964, inherited from his father who worked on the construction of the first dam across the Nile (the Aswan low dam) built between 1898 and 1902.
CONDITION NOTE 1999: incomplete, holed, irridescent, small running cracks, concretions, surface dirt. Tthree holes in body, part of rim missing.
