Information

Finely carved stone jar of broad rounded form with twin concave tubular handles and everted rim. Hard limestone with pink flecks (perhaps even breccia). Part of rim is chipped off and loose. Collector's sticker on the side with the handwritten number 155. Compare shape with Ali el-Khouli, 'Egyptian Stone Vessels Predynastic Period to Dynasty III' (Mainz, 1978) nos. 1545-1546.
