Ovoid-shaped jar with narrow base and trumpet-shaped mouth. Part of rim missing. The object has been marked with the tomb number "6" in black. Vessel shape matches with John Garstang's type 2 (1907 pl. XII, 2). Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 26 June - 6 July 1922 (MacGregor Collection) Lot 1699/24: "Twenty-four miscellaneous vases, in glazed and unglazed pottery; from Esna, Abydos and other sites" (1922, p. 221)".
