Small sized squat shaped jar with lug handles. Carved from a pale stone (limestone?) with evidence of drilling on the interior surface. Broken and mended from pieces, with one lug handle missing. One of the previous owners, Amy Urlin, assisted W. M. F. Petrie on his excavation of the cemetery at Abydos in 1901, which may have been the source of this object.

CONDITION NOTE (1998): Heavily chipped, previous repair, surface dirt.
