Pottery jug with a human head which has a braided lock of hair on one side and a collar around the neck. There is a big hole with thick rim at the back of the figure presumably to allow liquid to be poured into the jug. At the front, a pair of arms extends towards a pointed spout from which the liquid was poured out. The pot has a flat base, red colour with a white wash. Purchased in Cairo by Sir Henry Wellcome 24 July 1911.
