A comple plain White III wheelmade jug of an ovoid body and a splayed foot. The neck is tall and concave and the rim is splayed. The jug has a vertical handle from the shoulder to just below the rim. The handle is large and disproportionate to the body. Part of the mouth and the handle were re-attached. The clay is buff, quite gritty. The jug was evently fired medium hard. It has a greenish wet smoothed surface finish. It is similar to 56.218.13 in the treatment of the clay.
