Information
Bucchero olpe (jug), piriform body, restored handle and part of neck and rim. Lower part of close to the base has a band of incised vertical trianglular leaves. There is a band of deep circular grooves above the lower zone decoration. The middle band has on each side two lionesses facing each other, in between them two horned large goats, one behind the other.The end of the animal frieze has a bird or a swan. Above the band of animals is a thinner band set in between two grooves and has an inciced knot pattern. Another band on the shoulder has incised decoration of standing chimerae with an inverted lotus flower in between them. At the base of the neck there is another band of an incised knot design.
