Information

Ciro Ferri (1634 – 13 September 1689) was an Italian Baroque painter, sculptor and printmaker. He was the student and assistant of Pietro da Cortona and became one of his closest followers. This print is after a drawing by Ferri probably made in the early 1650s. It was engraved by Simon Watts, a London-based engraver and publisher active in the mid to late 18th century.
