Information
George Jardine was born in Wallasey. He trained at Wallasey Art School with Albert Richards who painted 'The Seven Legends'. In 1939 they both moved to London to go to the Royal College of Art. Jardine moved to Ambleside in the Lake District when the college was relocated during the Second World War. Later in his career he returned to Wallasey. He taught at the Liverpool School of Art for over 40 years.
