K13, vessel lifted

Glass lantern slide by unknown photographer, March 1917. Image shows the submarine HMS K13, Royal Navy, being raised from the bottom of the Gareloch, Dumbartonshire. The submarine sank during pre-acceptance trials on 29 January 1917, resulting in the loss of 32 people.
