Kelso Abbey and Town

Dennistoun was a Helensburgh painter working in both oil and watercolour. He is thought to be a member of the Dennistoun family of artists, however the exact relationship to them is unknown. Dennistoun exhibited six works at the Royal Scottish Academy between 1876 and 1880, and five works at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts when the recorded address was Rowmore Cottage, Rhu, Dunbartonshire.
