Kettle-shaped ewer

Kettle-shaped ewer with square body, high arched handle, and square straight neck and cover. On the sides are open-work panels with designs of deer, pine tree and stork, lotus flowers, and monkey seated on a rock. Decorated in famille verte enamels on the biscuit. Surrounding the panels are floral designs in colours in a green ground; green edges. Trellis pattern on the shoulders with panels of symbols; floral designs on the neck; and open-work of flowers and foliage on the cover. The spout is green and the handle brownish yellow.
