Knife with tang curled at the end. From Buhen, the former ancient Egyptian fortress outpost in Lower Nubia (Sudan) that in 1964 was entirely submerged beneath the reservoir waters behind the Aswan High Dam. Egypt Exploration Society 1963-64 excavations, site no. K11.19, cat. no. 1604. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Heavily corroded, fresh corrosion.
