Crescent-shaped knife or sickle, hollow edge, thicker convex back. Chipped straight butt. Opaque brown with darker ripples. Silica gloss.
CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface dirt.
Excavated by Professor Flinders Petrie at the ancient town of Lahun, which flourished in the 19th and 18th centuries BC, around the pyramid complex of King Senusret II.
