Cosmetic vessel carved from Egyptian alabaster in the shape of two monkeys, crouched and supporting a vase at either side. Shallow relief with hatched ground between the two figures. The shoulders are pierced. The lids are missing. A note written by Dorothy Slow (previous Keeper of Antiquities) on 22 October 1965 says that the vase is to be published by Dr Wallert of Tubingen.
