K.W. Witter, records relating to Johnston Warren Line and Furness Withy Group.

K.W. Witter was employed as the Voyage Accountant by the Johnston Warren Line, part of the Furness Withy Group. The collection comprises of papers collected by K.W. Witter during his employment at the Furness Withy Group and its subsidiary the Johnston Warren Line. They are not, however, a comprehensive collection of the companies' records, rather they are documents which had value for his personal research. The collection also includes fleet lists and index cards containing ship details which have been researched and compiled by Witter, as well as articles and magazine cuttings collected by him during the course of his research.
