Alexander Kellock Brown was a Scottish landscape painter. He mainly painted views of Scotland including the Highlands and the Hebrides. He took a keen interest in Liverpool and had many friends in the city. In 1915 he served as a professional member of the Hanging Committee for the Liverpool Autumn Exhibition. Brown and several of his fellow artists from Glasgow also held a special exhibition at the Agnew Galleries in Dale Street, Liverpool.
