Landscape with Canal and Lock Gates

Harry Hine was a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and lived variously in London, Hertforshire and Suffolk. HIs father, wife and brother were all also artists. He was educated at the North London Collegiate and the Philological School (later St Marylebone Grammar School). He also served as a mate in the Merchant Navy.
