Landscape with Stream

Joseph Andrews (1874 - 1936) was not a professional artist. He worked full time for the Royal Insurance Company. He taught himself to paint and enjoyed success as a painter of local, Liverpool views. He was a member of the Liverpool Academy and contributed this watercolour to an album of drawings presented to Alderman John Lea (1850 - 1927) in 1926.
