Laticauda colubrina (Schneider, 1799)

Species has large, blunt cobra-like head with nostrils positioned at the sides of the snout, body cylindrical, covered with smooth scales with laterally compressed tail. Body is bluish-grey with numerous large black rings. Length up to 1.4 m.
