Letter re uprising of enslaved people 1823, from John N Linnon, Hope and Experiment Plantation, Berbice, British Guiana (Guyana) to owner Hugh McClamont, Belfast, 3rd Sept 1823. Containing reference to uprising in Demerara and monthly plantation accounts including amounts of cotton picked and shipped and numbers of Negroes and livestock. Includes photocopy of original and transcription of letter
