Lime box

Large silver lime box or trimi used for storing pan or betel leaf. The box and lid are decorated with bold, deep repousse that has been cut out and has the appearance of fret work. The box features designs of swirling clouds and dragons in high relief, with details and motifs highlighted with gilding. The lid 's finial is in the form of a lotus and is fitted with turquoise stones.
