Linen Capsules

Flax, Linum usitatissimum. Collected at the pyramid town of Lahun by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889-90. Kept within a glass test tube with cork stopper.Annotation in black on the cork by Percy Newberry: "Kahun XII Flax". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Some are fragile, holed in places (insect damage?) surface dirt. Dimensions are for the container.
