Lioness Head Bead

Faded green glazed Egyptian faience amuletic bead modelled in the form of a lioness head. Pierced vertically with two holes that pass through the nostrils. Compare with a British Museum example in Carol Andrews, 'Amulet of Ancient Egypt' (London, 1994) p. 65, fig. 70 [a].
