The Liverbirds' bass guitar

This is Liverbird Mary Dorstal’s bass guitar. The Liverbirds were one of the first all-female rock ‘n’ roll bands in the world. They toured with British bands such as The Kinks and The Rolling Stones. The group broke up in 1968, just after finishing a tour of Japan. Lent by Mary Dorstal
