Lotus Bead

Green and blue Egyptian faience bead in the form of a lotus bud. Pierced at the short end for threading. There is a similar example, also from the Robert Mond collection, in the Egypt Centre, Swansea University, accession no. WK39, part of the Woking Collection, on long-term loan from Woking College since 2012.
