Lygosoma afrum (Peters, 1854)

Rather large skink. Pale grey, yellowish or dark brown above, may be almost uniform in colour although may have a pattern of regularly broken longitudinal lines or speckling. Underside bluish-white, cream or bright yellow, often spotted with brown. Length up to 23 cm.
