Wooden male figure from a Middle Kingdom funerary model scene, recorded as being part of a 'funerary model ship'. Standing, wearing a long whitel kilt. Arms detached and nose chipped off. Thin layer of gesso on the wood surface, with skin painted light brown with pale hair.
Given to the East Anglia Egyptian Society in November 1925 by the Egypt Exploration Society from 'old stock' in return for their subscription.
CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, pigment loss, dry wood.
