Mandela Freedom Festival!

The Mandela Freedom Festival took place on Granby Fields, Toxteth, Liverpool on Sunday 17 July 1988. This authorised limited edition poster commemorates the 70th birthday of Nelson Mandela. The poster shows a collage image of the faces of Nelson and Winnie Mandela featured on the continent of Africa, along with people demonstrating to show solidarity with the Black population of South Africa during its apartheid era
