Market Day

George Bernard O'Neill (1828 - 1917) was an Irish painter, and part of the Cranbrook Colony. This was a group of artists based in Cranbrook, a village in Kent, England, in the mid-19th century onwards. The group was inspired by seventeenth-century Dutch and Flemish painting, and depicted genre scenes of everyday rural life.
