Miniature vessel in the shape of a cup with convex sides, wide mouth and footed. Miniature vessels like this one would have been used as offering in the mortuary cult of a private individual within a tomb chapel, or for royalty within the temple of a pyramid complex. Collected by Amy Urlin and Hilda Petrie by the pyramid of King Menkaure at Giza, November 1900. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Chipped, surface dirt, label adhered to base.
