Painted wooden figure of a seated scribe with black hair, from tomb 363. His writing board and pen are now missing and his identity by a scribe was not recorded until 2 February 2022 when Samantha Powell of the University of Birmingham made the observation. Marked in black 363 BH. From Beni Hasan, cemetery below the Middle Kingdom rock-cut tombs: excavated by John Garstang of the Liverpool Institute of Archaeology, 1902-1904. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, crack on face, adhesive on surface, surface loss, surface dirt, label adhered to knees.
