Painted wooden figure of a man standing wearing a linen kilt. Black hair and only traces of red paint. Arms now lost. Marked in black 511. From Beni Hasan, cemetery below the Middle Kingdom rock-cut tombs: excavated by John Garstang of the Liverpool Institute of Archaeology, 1902-1904.
CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, old insect damage, very worn surface, cloth is fraying and dirty, surface dirt.
