Four wooden oars from ship models, longest being 530 mm. One has pataches of red paint and is marked in black 320; another is marked 577. From Beni Hasan, cemetery below the Middle Kingdom rock-cut tombs: excavated by John Garstang of the Liverpool Institute of Archaeology, 1902-1904.
CONDITION NOTE (1998): Grey/white residue on some, surface dirt.
