Pair of model sandals for use in the afterlife by a lady named Djetinpet. One of three pairs found, with the other two being given to Revd. William MccGregor (and subsequently sold at the 1922 MacGregor collection auction). Both sandals have large flat soles that are painted white with imitation stitching in black in two rows round the outside. Straps to go between the toes and round the upper foot. Marked by the excavator with the tomb number 800 at the heel of each. An archive photograph shows the three pairs of sandals on top of the coffin lid within the burial chamber (see Garstang, 'Burial Customs', fig. 99).
